Project
New Website
We received a comprehensive commission from Wimborne Cemetery in 2018, comprising a brand new website, new logo and stationery and some other graphic work.
Wimborne Cemetery comprises 20 acres of land between Stone Lane and St Margaret’s Hill and is jointly owned and managed by a committee made up of members from Colehill Parish Council, Pamphill & Shapwick Parish Council and Wimborne Minster Town Council. It’s in a calm and peaceful spot (actually not far from our own Stone Lane offices) and is beautifully maintained.
The cemetery had no online presence until 2018. The committee asked us to produce a website which would help promote the cemetery as a community resource and reduce the clerk’s email and phone workload. Enquiries come in regularly from as far away as Canada and Australia.
Accordingly the new website clearly assists those who want to know about opening hours, where to park, and how much cemetery services cost. There’s even a notable interments section, for those interested in Wimborne’s history, including the sinister story of Montague Druitt who – thanks to the website – ripperologists now know to find in … section 8, to west of Chapel.
