Bournemouth based recruitment agency Search Tech is run by experienced search consultants specialising in executive search. Their expertise covers the Health, Safety, Risk & Compliance, Financial, Engineering and Commercial sectors.

With new branding, a new logo and new offices for the start of 2019, they needed a website to advertise the company and list jobs.

We delivered a punchy website using a custom WordPress theme. By building the theme from scratch we were able to bring in design flourishes which matched their tricky yellow and black colour scheme.

Recruitment does not really have its own visuals, so we helped Search Tech choose a set of compelling images from Adobe’s stock library.

A good search function is vital in a recruitment site and we ensure search is prominent, easy to use, and covers every field in the job custom post type.

The website layout aims to steer potential candidates towards the right vacancy and make it easy to submit an application. For example, when a potential candidate clicks through on the “Apply Now” button we clear the screen and keep them focused on filling out a clean, simple form. Without distractions.

Candidates can also upload their CV even without an interest in a specific job ad.

Attachments (covering letters, CVs, other documents) are handled by the excellent Ninja Forms Uploads plugin made by our friend Ian Poulsen.

We are currently in discussion with Bullhorn so that the site integrates with their backend database system.
